August 1, 2022 — Eyecan Athletics has been apart of the Katy community for over 5 years. In the city of Katy and surrounding areas we’ve helped to mentor and develop athletes at every level. We’ve also served the communities where we do business for just as long by mentoring and developing the next generation young leaders of the future. As part of that community support, TEAF in collaboration with Eyecan Athletics is announcing the launch of its scholarship program, a commitment to help students planning to attend a college, university and not-for-profit vocational school achieve their dreams. Its part of the foundations signature community program at the intersection of athletics and education. The scholarship will be awarded to 100 students in the Eyecan Athletics network from year 2022-2025. Recipients will receive a non-renewable $1,000 scholarship to be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies and housing for the 2022-2023 academic school year. The inaugural scholarship for 2023 will be awarded to a student athlete. As part of a commitment from TEAF we want to be able to continue to give back to these student athletes and will need support and help from the community. Donations of goods services time and financial resources are greatly appreciated. Students can apply between Dec. 1, 2022, and Feb. 28, 2023.
